Theme Parks & Tourist Entertainment

Every summer, millions of people pack up and head for the mountains, the beach, or somewhere in between. While most want to lay out, go hiking, or do something else outdoors, some people want to get in to beat the heat, avoid the rain, or avoid the crowds; or they go places just for the spectacular shows! Tourist oriented theatres have specialized shows that run a long season or run year-round. Some theatres may have more than one show running concurrently, but with different casting companies, so check the theatre's page carefully. One may find everything from pirates to cowboys, comedy reviews to variety shows, and many offer dinner while you watch. Be aware that you may have more than just your performance/tech duties when working for these venues. Theme parks are generally the exception to this rule as departments tend to be more separate. If you’re looking for cruise lines, they’re over on a separate page with touring companies.
